About Me
Hi, I’m Haley, the founder of Rooted Mind Therapy, and I’m so glad you’re here.
I believe that healing begins with feeling truly seen and understood. That’s why I prioritize the relationship between client and therapist above all else. My approach is warm, person-centered, and rooted in deep respect for your lived experience. Before any technique or intervention, I focus on creating a safe, trusting space where you feel supported, heard, and empowered.
As someone who identifies as lesbian, I understand how complex and deeply personal the journey of self-discovery can be. I specialize in supporting LGBTQ+ individuals as they explore identity, build self-esteem, and navigate the challenges of living authentically in a world that can feel unwelcoming. Whether you’re questioning, coming out, or working through the layers of internalized messages, I provide a space where your truth is honored and affirmed.
I’m also passionate about helping people reconnect with their cultural identity and values, especially when those parts of the self have been overlooked, minimized, or misunderstood. So much of healing is about returning to who we are at our core, and I love helping clients feel more aligned with their sense of self and purpose.
In addition, I have extensive experience working with veterans, active-duty service members, and their families, as well as in vocational and career counseling. My background includes years of supporting individuals with disabilities and chronic health conditions as they navigate both personal and professional transitions.
No matter where you are in your journey, I’m here to walk alongside you as you root into your authentic self and build a life that reflects your deepest values.
